Torres Hill Vineyard
In 2022, we increased our property holdings for the first time with the purchase of Torres Hill. This previously unnamed vineyard is located outside of Dallas, Oregon and just south of the Van Duzer Corridor AVA within the Willamette Valley in the foothills of the Coast Range. The 30-acre property includes Douglas firs and an 11-acre vineyard planted to Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris in 2011. It was planned to need a bare minimum of inputs with a spare, single-wire trellis system and no irrigation. So, for us: it is perfect.
We have begun farming it according to the same organic methods we use at Le Puits Sec and look forward to having its farming certified organic as well. As we move forward and make it our own we intend for this fruit to be the core of our Willamette Valley bottlings.
