Much has changed since this wine was first harvested by our good friend, Ken Cancilla. In 2020 his vineyard just outside of the hamlet of Cherry Grove was included in the newly declared Tualatin Hills AVA. And in 2021, Ken decided to retire (again, and for real this time!) and he sold his dry- and certified organically-farmed vineyard and moved to Salem, Oregon.

This 2017 continues to exude the charm of the 2017 vintage: pretty, fruit-driven with dense dark cherry, creamy raspberry, a bright red cherry finish and perfect acidity that has just started to show pipe tobacco, black tea, and turned earth.
