The years since we first released this wine have been kind, and this second vintage of Juliette Chardonnay is a knockout.  The grapes were sourced wholly from Mahonia Vineyard and after primary and malolactic fermentation and 10 months in barrel only five barrels were selected from our total production of Willamette Valley Chardonnay. We held these special barrels an extra eight months in the caves where they sat on the lees has heightened the complexity and texture.  Of those barrels, only four were bottled.

This is now a fine, mature Chardonnay layered with aromas of lemon curd, beeswax, and lanolin and hits the palate with a bounty of baked apples and pears and hazelnut praline that hums with a mineral density and dances bright with acidity on a plush texture.
