We’ve been buying fruit from John Miller and his Mahonia Vineyard in the South Salem Hills for over two decades. This years bottling is bright and spicy, nicely textured with crunchy acid mixing with a velvety mid-palate, red and black cherry, and nice length on the finish.

In the 8 years since harvest, the 6 since bottling, and Mahonia becoming our monopole the tannins have knit together nicely and a lovely savory note (think bay leaf or matsutake) has started to emerge. Dark cherry, cola and a creamy, velvety mid finishing with dried herbs.
